Things can only get better by Dream becomes Labour anthem again after Sunak calls Election - band to play glastonbury

Things Can Only Get Better for D:Ream

Things Can Only Get Better, D:Ream's New Labour anthem, has been racing up the charts since it took a starring role in Sunak's general election announcement last week.

It looks like the song is set to be the anthem of the summer. D:Ream have even been added to the Glastonbury line up, which takes place the weekend before the election. I think we can all predict what one of the stand-out moments of the festival will be!

For anyone attending Glasto, make sure you order your Things Can Only Get Better T-shirt ASAP to make the most of this imminent communal zeitgeist moment. It will be much easier to find each other wearing one of our shirts.

For those not attending the festival, you can still do your bit by streaming the song as often as possible to get it to number one in time for election day.  Here's the link:

For those wondering 'why are people playing this random and frankly quite mediocre 90s dance track right now?', the song was adopted by New Labour as their campaign song for the 1997 election which saw Tony Blair win a landslide. Hopefully history is about to repeat itself.
